Dedicated to all those in Love.....

In the Journey of life,u may come accross several faces;
Some may pass by u;
Some may stare at u;
Some may talk to u;
Some may even walk with u;
But Someone.....may become a part of u......
That is the one....made for u....

Inspirational......

If you want something badly enough,
You have the power to make it happen,
No matter what other people have to say,
Or how tough, the odds at first, appear to be!!!

Fear

FEAR

It is perhaps the most unusual of all things that may affect a human being; yes its fear. It is evident in almost all of the human species, irrespective of their status in society, their intelligence, their family background or any other such things as attributes of a human personality.
The Oxford dictionary describes fear as “a panic or distress caused by a sense of impending danger”. On the face of it, this definition might seem to have fit just the right description of our perception of fear. However, in retrospect, it has still left many things unexplained. The foremost question that may arise is a proper classification of events under the category “dangerous”. Well I would put it this way, what might be dangerous for me, may not be the same for you, or anybody else for that matter. An ace driver of F1 cars might not be afraid of speed driving at all; even though speeds in excess of 100 miles an hour might be difficult for us to handle and we might get ourselves into “danger” if we are moving at that speed; it may be perfect manageable for the F1 driver and his stimulus may well not be of a fear rather it may be one of those pleasurable experiences that we all look forward to.
Not just the profession one is in is all that matters; there can be several other factors which include psychological factors. A person may be emotionally weak or strong which may produces different stimuli in their case. What might be a “fight or fright” situation for one, may very well be a calm one for the other.
There can be an endless list of such differences. The human behaviour has been described as the most diverse among all living species. It would not be rhetorical to call the human being as the most unpredictable animal. There is one thing in common though; we ALL have FEARS which we commonly express as our phobias. Fear can have different personified versions, we might be afraid of someone in particular; or of a particular event that has occurred and its recurrence might be the last thing we want to happen.
Although it is an established fact that fear or phobia exists among all; most of us are unaware of the other half of the story. There have been various discussions among the psychiatrists all around the globe of whether to recognize fear as some kind of a disease or not. Now here comes the other half. Fear has been recognized as a state of mind and is therefore very easy to shed. It is not an obscure phenomenon we should be hesitant to talk about. Infact research has shown that fear is more easily shed by expressing it to our near and dear ones and trying to identify the root cause.
The most important thing to remember to launch a counter attack on your fears is to list it out. Remember, fear is your enemy and it needs to be defeated. Having clear cut information about your enemy always helps you to win over. Let us start by getting acquainted with our fears, you must talk to them, understand them and identify their strengths and weaknesses. It would be a great idea if you could list out the things which fear you. It could be your poor grade sheet, a pending promotion at your office, an illness, your fiancĂ© marrying somebody else or anything of that sort. After you have it all laid out before you in black and white, it is your time to plan a strategy to target your fear. Start by eliminating its strengths one by one. As a punch line for your defense against your fears always remember this: “Do the things that fear you and the death of the fear is certain”. This statement may not be sounding very convincing in its literal sense but a deeper reflection upon the underlying philosophy might be a strong weapon for you against your fear. You just need to identify the root cause and start working on it. The only way to win over your fears is to get rid of its root causes. They might bother you in the initial stages but believe me, those are the only stages they are going to bother you. Once your are through to them, it is going to be a win-win situation for you and your fears are no longer going to trouble you.
